NALED: Cashless Case Challenge Third, fourth and fifth place in the national competition

The Cashless Case Challenge for ideas for the development of a cashless society was organized by NALED in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, with the support of Mastercard, Societe Generale Bank, the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and the Case Study Club. 48 students applied for the competition, and the 10 best teams participated in the finals on December 17 at the ICT Hub Playground Center. Our students managed to secure high placements, and they formed the teams “24h” (third place), “Štediše” (fourth place) and “NIKA” (fifth place).

As a solution, the “24h” team proposed the introduction of an e-card reader on green markets in order to enable cashless payment at counters, which is easy to install and use and connected to mobile phones.
The “Savers” team proposed the introduction of a savings program as an incentive for non-cash payments. For each non-cash transaction, users are credited with points that can later be used for travel and similar benefits.
The “NIKA” team proposed the introduction of a multifunctional 4 in 1 card, which would include an ID card, driver’s license, health card and payment card, and thus enable all citizens to pay cashless.
