RTS: McGill Management International Case Competition 2012 | Second place in the world competition

A team from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and representatives of the Case Study Club won second place in one of the most exclusive competitions in solving a case study held in Montreal. The McGill Management International Case Competition (MMICC), organized by the Desautels Faculty of Management from McGill University in Canada, is one of the three most prestigious competitions in solving business case studies.

According to RTS, the competition was attended by nine of the best business schools representing universities from around the world, and our team consisted of Stanislava Bivolarervić, Boban Romić, Ana Ivanović and Mladen Dikić, under the mentorship of prof. Dr. Vesna Damnjanovic. The first place was won by the team of students from the University of Melbourne from Australia, while the third place went to the host Mc McGill University.

Among the participants in the McGill Management International Case Competition were Copenhagen Business School from Denmark, Otago University from New Zealand, University of Navarra from Spain, University of South Carolina and University of North Carolina from the USA, as well as Nanyang Technological University from Singapore. The students were tasked with defining “Christie Digital Systems” new corporate and marketing strategy within 22 hours, after which they presented their solution to an expert jury made up of experts from some of the leading international companies.
