B92: Belgrade Business International Case Competition 2014 | Third place in the world competition

Students of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences shared third place at the Belgrade Business International Case Competition, a competition in solving a business case study, with the University of Porto, where they were just behind the double champions from the National University of Singapore and Queensland University of Technology in Australia. The team that represented the Faculty of Organizational Sciences consisted of: Katarina Mirković, Masha Sretenović, Luka Važić and Iva Mišović, under the mentorship of Aleksandar Bijelić and Ana Ivanović.

Students from 12 world universities from America, Canada, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Portugal, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Serbia, after 30 hours of solving a business case study in quarantine, presented their solutions at this world competition in solving a case study. The teams answered the questions of the expert jury composed of 14 top managers and consultants of leading companies from Serbia.

The case study was commissioned by Danubius, which operates within Delta Holding. The business challenge faced by the students was related to the increase in the consumption of pasta on the domestic market as well as the possibility of placing the Danubius brand on foreign markets.

What prof. Dr. Vesna Damnjanović from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, as well as the Vice President of Delta Holding, Marija Desivojević Cvetković, stated on this occasion that you can see it in the news of the daily “B92“, which we would like to thank.
