RTS: Ace the Case | First place in the national competition

Members of the Case Study Club, Rastko Damnjanovic and Tanja Ilić, won first place at the national KPMG competition “Ace the Case” for 2017, which gave them the opportunity to visit the company in Warsaw, where they had three days to improve .

On that occasion, Rastko and Dušan Savić, a member of the team from 2016, were guests on the show “Tako stoje stvari” on RTS, where they answered the question whether students can solve serious economic problems.

Ace the Case” is a competition in which students gain practice through solving specific business problems. This prestigious competition in solving a case study is organized by the auditing company KPMG. Namely, after two days of lectures and work with mentors, on the third day, the competitors presented their solutions for the task they were given on the spot. To solve the task, in this case, the students had three hours.

Through the interview, our contestants explained what a business case study is and what the competition looks like in solving it. They talked about the process of competition, the course of making solutions and tried to bring their experience closer in the most realistic light.

Through the conversation, they explained how knowledge from all other subjects from previous years of study, but also current ones, can help in creating solutions.
