Blitz: Creative Shock 2014 | Placement in the finals of the world competition

Case Study Club students from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences: Iva Mišović, Đorđe Petrović, Nikola Šurlan and Stefan Milić under the mentorship of prof. Dr. Vesna Damnjanovic won first place in the world competition in solving the case study “Creative Shock” in Lithuania. The competition lasted from October 1 to December 7, 2014, and was organized by the ISM Student Association and the ISM University of Management and Economics. 175 teams from 125 universities participated in the competition.

In the preliminary round, the students had two tasks: solving a case study – proposing a marketing strategy of the fictitious textile company “Mother Africa Sewing” from Africa for the European market and proposing a guerrilla marketing campaign in the form of video material for the NGO Otrā Elpa from Riga. In the final part of the competition, which took place from 5 to 7 December 2014, the top 5 teams had the task of solving a case study in 12 hours and presenting their solution to the jury members. the best solution, after which he was awarded first place.
